Sculpture

I work intuitively, allowing the physical qualities of each material to guide the process. Weight, tension, rigidity, fragility and movement become part of the language of each piece.

Rather than starting with a fixed image or narrative, I build through experimentation, responding to proportion, gravity and the way different elements interact with one another and with the surrounding space.

The resulting works explore a quiet sense of presence, where material and form remain open to tension, transformation and interpretation.
